Moonlight State Beach

As a member of the development team lead by Stephen Dalton Architects, Pasco Laret Suiter & Associates provided comprehensive Civil Engineering design services for the revitalization of the aging infrastructure at Moonlight State Beach in the City of Encinitas, California. The scope of work included the construction of a new Concessions and Beach Rentals building, a new Lifeguard Garage and Roof Deck, new restroom facilities, as well as associated parking, hardscape and utilities.

Since the construction of the new improvements at Moonlight State Beach, the residents of North County San Diego have a renewed interest in this eclectic state beach, evidenced by many public events such as Moonlight Beach Fest, Wavecrest Woodie Meet, Switchfoot’s Bro-Am and monthly volleyball tournaments.

Pasco Laret Suiter and Associates is currently working with the City of Encinitas on the second phase of this project, which will include a state-of-the-art Marine Safety Center!
