LAND DEVELOPMENT – CIVIL ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team in San Diego. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in land development projects, working alongside experienced engineers and industry professionals. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and analysis of land development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Conduct site visits and field inspections to gather data and ensure project compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, preferably students in their third year (Junior Year) or above.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and positive attitude.  
  • Some familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, GIS, or other engineering software is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work in-office 10-20 hour per week pending class schedule.
